- 1/ 2 cup butter, melted
- 1 1/ 4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/ 2 cups flour
- 1/ 4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/ 4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/ 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/ 3 cup orange juice
- 1/ 3 cup buttermilk
- 1/ 2 teaspoon vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray or grease and flour sweet tweet pan. Combine butter, sugar and eggs. In separate bowl combine flour, powder, soda, and salt. Slowly add dry ingredients to butter, sugar egg mixture. Pour in orange juice, buttermilk and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Divide batter evenly in chick pan wells. Pound gently on countertop to remove air bubbles. Bake for 22-28 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of cakes comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool for 5-10 minutes before turning cakes out of pan.

Light, fluffy, and delicious! Easy enough for my 8 year old to help make. My family loved them!
