A Scandinavian classic recipe developed by our founder in the 1950’s! This simple pancake recipe is a delicious delicacy and can be made in any of our pancake pans. Traditionally served with lingonberry jam for a delightful breakfast to share with family and friends.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs, separated
- ½ cup flour
- 1 ½ cups whole milk
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 3 Tbsp butter, melted
Directions
Mix batter a few hours before using. Let stand in a slightly cool place.
Beat egg yolks with sugar, salt and melted butter. Stir in flour and milk. When ready to use, add the well beaten egg whites from separated eggs.
Preheat pancake breakfast pan on medium heat and add a little butter in each cavity of pan. Spoon batter into each and cook each side until browned. Serve with traditional lingonberry preserves or cranberries.
