Almond Butter Leaves

Ingredients
- 1/ 4 cup butter, softened
- 3/ 4 cup flour
- 1/ 4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/ 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/ 4 cup confectioners sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/ 4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/ 4 cup slivered almonds, finely chopped
- 1/ 4 teaspoon almond extract
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour pan. In medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Blend on low speed 1 minute, scraping bowl often. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 20-22 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 minutes; turn out onto cooling rack and cool completely.
Makes 6 leaves.
