Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 2/3 cups sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare Dinosaur Cakelet Pan with baking spray containing flour. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. Using a mixer with a paddle attachment, mix together butter, yogurt, eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture and mix on medium speed for 1 minute. Spoon batter into each cavity, filling 3/4 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool cakes in pan for 10 minutes. Invert cakes onto cooling rack to cool completely. Wash pan and repeat with remaining batter. Decorate as desired.

I’ve had this pan for years and even used at my restaurant and all I can say is this, it’s amazing!
What kids don’t love Dino’s! We’ve done cakes to brownies with it and it’s amazing.
Only issues is making sure it’s properly oiled and flowered to make the cakes pop out.

I made these for my son ten years ago when he was small. They were delicious so I held onto the recipe but lost it. I wanted to make it again for a special occasion and I’m glad to find it here!

I especially recommend this recipe if you own this dinosaur pan. The cakes come out cleanly, it’s easy to make, and they are delicious! My son and I love to make these.
