This healthy spiced tahini banana muffin recipe will be a new favorite go-to during the week! Naturally sweetened with maple syrup and bananas and provides a super moist and flavorful texture using almond flour and tahini. Easy to make for a great breakfast or snack idea! (gluten free and can be made dairy free)
Ingredients
- 2 large overripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Coconut oil
- Optional:
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- Flaked sea salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly brush a 12-cavity muffin pan with coconut oil or use muffin liners. Using a mixer, combine mashed bananas, tahini, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until thoroughly combined and smooth. Add in almond flour, baking soda, spices, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips if desired. Fill prepared muffin pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. If desired, sprinkle with flaked salt once out of the oven. Makes about 10-12 muffins.

Just made these muffins. Smell of the house is divine! The warms spices. Couldn’t wait for it to cool down before trying one. It was DELICIOUS. New tasty way to use up ripe bananas. I did use muffin liners though.
