Baked Vanilla Donuts

No frying necessary! Make your own baked vanilla donuts for your next family gathering, birthday party, work event, or shower. Decorate with fun colored frosting, sprinkles, chocolate or enjoy as is. Simple and easy to make using our cute Classic Donut Pan!
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- Frosting:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 4 Tbsp butter, room temperature
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 Tbsp milk
- Optional: food coloring, sprinkles
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare pan with baking spray. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Using a mixer with a paddle attachment, mix the egg and sugar together. Add in melted butter and vanilla thoroughly. Add half of the flour and stir. Then add the milk followed by the other half of the flour mixture until smooth. For ease, place batter in pastry bag & pipe batter evenly into prepared pan or spoon in using a tablespoon. Bake 15-20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted into center of cakes. Let donuts cool in pan for 5 minutes before inverting onto a cooling rack.
Combine frosting ingredients in a small bowl until desired consistency is reached. Add food coloring if desired. Once donuts are cooled, frost and top with sprinkles.

Have misplaced donut pan wo made into 12 small muffins. They are SUPER! I will soon make this again.
