1. Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water. Extended soaking is not recommended.
2. Before each use, brush with butter or shortening and dust with flour or cocoa to coat. Baking spray containing flour may also be used. Do not use regular cooking spray.
3. Mixes and recipes may vary. Fill the pan no more than 3/4 full to avoid overflow.
4. Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used on nonstick surfaces.

I wish there were recipes with the Sunflower Cakelet Pan as there were with some of the other Nordicware items I’ve purchased both as gifts, and for ourselves…

The sunflower cakelet pan is beautifully designed with deep wells and a non-stick, easy-release finish! I have made apple-cinnamon cakelets and blueberry-cinnamon cakelets, both of which were beautiful because of the detail of the pan’s interior. Another homerun from the Nordicware team!!!

It’s easy to give one to each grandchild!

I have got an embarassing amount of Nordic Ware bakeware and I don’t care! The quality is first class and I love the unusual designs. I don’t have to worry about whether the purchase will be worth it, the excellent quality is a given. I don’t mind that they aren’t in regular use as the classical designs will go from year to year.
