Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water. Extended soaking is not recommended.
Before each use, brush with butter or shortening and dust with flour or cocoa to coat. Baking spray containing flour may also be used. Do not use regular cooking spray.
Mixes and recipes may vary. Fill the pan no more than 3/4 full to avoid overflow.
Metal utensils, scouring pads and abrasive cleaners should not be used
on nonstick surfaces

My Mother and I have used Nordic Ware pans for years now and this is the only one that has had corners. We thought that it would impede having perfect-looking bread, but it was not the case. We sprayed the pan with Bakers Joy, making sure to coat every sharp corner, and the bread had no problems coming out. Our pan was perfect with no scratches, and it does hold up to the older Nordic Ware pans we both have.
