Nordic Ware’s Naturals® Bakeware is made of pure, uncoated aluminum that is free of all chemicals. For majority of the pans, there is an encapsulated rim made of steel to help prevent warping.
Aluminum’s superb heat conductivity ensures food browns uniformly and swiftly, delivering flawless results every time. It continues to be an indispensable classic in both professional and home kitchens alike.
Naturals® Bakeware is perfect for all your recipe needs such as
sheet pan meals, food prep,
baked desserts, cakes and so much more! Aluminum is reactive to acidic ingredients such as vinegar, fruits, and tomato products. These foods may darken, pit, or corrode the pan after use or prolonged exposure.
For prep, traditional shortening/butter and flour methods or baking spray work well when used for baking. For easy clean up, natural aluminum pans can be used with parchment paper, silicone baking mats or aluminum foil for roasting and baking.
We recommend hand washing Naturals Bakeware with warm soapy water with a sponge, textured scrubber or dishcloth. Dishwasher use is not advised, as discoloration will occur due to the heat and cleaning agents used in automatic dishwasher detergent. This discoloration is merely cosmetic and does not have a negative effect on its performance or safety. Your pan will continue to perform and is safe to use.
For light residue, wash immediately with warm soapy water using a sponge, textured scrubber or dishcloth. For darker baked on foods, we recommend Dawn Powerwash Dish Spray. Spray dirty baking sheet with spray and allow to soak for 10 minutes. Avoid extended soaking. Scrub with a non-metal brush or textured sponge. Rinse with warm water and repeat as necessary.

Nylon, wood, or silicone utensils are recommended to use on Naturals® baking pans. Metal utensils and scouring pads may cause nicks, scuffs, or scratches, but do not in any way affect the performance or safety of the pans.
General maximum temperature recommendation for
Natural Aluminum Bakeware is 500°F(260°C) The pans are safe to use and will perform at higher temps. For example, you are free to use the pans when broiling. At elevated temperatures, it’s possible for oil to permanently adhere to the pans, resulting in discoloration or the development of a bronzed patina. These changes are purely cosmetic and do not pose any safety concerns. The pan will continue to perform perfectly.
Be assured that variations in the aesthetics of natural aluminum pans are completely normal and can occur from the manufacturing, storage, or shipping process. Additionally, over time, you will observe natural wear from regular use, such as discoloration, patina, scuffs, or marks from utensils and cleaning. These variations are normal and do not in any way affect the performance or safety of the pans.
Cheers to well-loved and trusted pans that help create cherished kitchen memories!
