Top 5 Cookie Stamps Tips and Tricks

  1. Use an uncoated aluminum baking sheet. This helps the dough stick to the pan when stamping.
  2. Always chill dough before stamping. Dough should be cold when stamping but not too stiff or dry. Pro tip! Chill stamps and baking sheet too.
  3. We suggest using cooking dough from scratch with little to no leavening in it like shortbread style cookies. Avoid prepackaged cookie mixes or refrigerated dough. Cookie stamp impressions will not be as defined!
  4. Roll cookie dough balls in sugar to help prevent sticking to the stamp. You can also dip stamps in sugar or flour or spray with baking spray if sticking occurs.
  5. For perfect edges, use a round cookie cutter or other shape of choice. For square and cookie stamp cutters, use a toothpick to remove excess dough.
