Love this egg boiler. I usually boil eggs in my IP. The egg boiler is much faster if I only need a few.

Love my egg cooker

I’ve had success using this product for cooking bacon when I need both bacon and grease in a recipe…it doesn’t cook the bacon as crisp as I like for stand-alone bacon (I haven’t tried to cook it that crisp – it would take a while as a previous reviewer has mentioned), but I’ve had no problems with clean-up if I soak the pan and grill overnight in dish soap water. I gave it a rating of 2 assuming that a rating of 1 is perfect (y’all ought to use words or at least words with the numbers to eliminate any confusion).

Makes a perfect soft boiled egg. I love it

I love it! Convenient and easy to wash. No water to boil,or eggs that break in the boiling water. It foolproof! Just put it in the microwave and go on doing other things til its done!

I like it. Have a 1000 watt microwave. Instructions say 8 minutes but I used 7 minutes instead as it needs 2 minutes to cool so it is still cooking the eggs. I didn’t bother to use ice water, just let them cool on their own. They peeled well. Had bought two. Good product.

Like it very much, when all you want are 2 to 4 eggs. It was fast but my microwave was losing some power so I had to cook longer.

I purchased two of these egg cookers (one for me and one for my sister).
and my sister opened hers and tried to use it. The top would not stay on and she plans to return it. She told me not to bother opening my package and return it, so I am going to return mine as well.

I use on a plate to take out of microwave easier and safer.

I have used this many times and love it. But, I did have an experience with it. I had 1 egg to steam and before the lotted time to cook, it blew up in my microwave. The instructions say from 1 egg to 4. Any suggestions?

I bought this several years ago and used it often and happily to make hard-boiled eggs. Then “food scientists” warned that eggs are bad for you. So I stopped using it. Now I see that “food scientists” have changed their minds. Eggs are good for you! So I’m using it again. I’m glad to see that it’s still on the market, and will use it as a reminder that “science” is not as unswervingly correct as some might suggest to us.

I love, love, live this product. We use it several times a week to make perfectly had-boiled eggs. Sometimes I make a few batches so that we have eggs as snacks. Once you get the timing right, it works perfectly. In my microwave, 9.5 minutes yields perfect hard-boiled eggs. Bonus, they are easy to peel too. The container can get really hot, so I use a towel to remove from micro and then use tongs to place eggs into a bowl of cold water. I love this product.

The first time I used it, I put 3 eggs in and cooked for 8 minutes. Eggs very easy to peel and they came out perfect… and I mean perfect. Very happy with this purchase!

I have two and just bought another one so I can cook more hard boiled eggs at one time. I have never had a bad egg and the yolks do not turn green on the edges. I sometimes cook 2 to 3 dozen eggs and it makes it so easy, just put in cold water bath and start the nest batch. Have given to friends and now bought 6 more for granddaughters. 1 of these is just the right amount for 1 person. Love, Love, Love mine

i have been using these for something like 15 years, typically a couple times per week. I am ordering my 3rd one, calling my current one worn out, given that we have very hard water that requires a bit of extra scouring.
These take all of the guess out of cooking your eggs exactly the way you like them, and you don’t need to stay by the stove.

This is the best .
It works very well once you find the proper time according to the power of your microwave.

The Nordic Egg Boiler is a must have kitchen aide. My wife and I use it several times a week. We have been using them about 8 years. It makes it so easy to keep hard boiled eggs available for snacks, breakfast and recipes. They have also made great gifts.

A place I used to work had one and I used it almost every day for soft-boiled eggs. I just got one for my home and am so excited to have it! I am using it almost every day for breakfast – so easy and clean!

I brought my newly purchased egg boiler to show my Aunt. No surprise, she wanted it. I had to buy a second one for myself. We both love the egg boiler.

Great for hard boiled eggs. Gave all my kids one when they went to college.

This is one of my favorite kitchen items! It cooks eggs perfectly: soft-boiled, medium, and hard-boiled. The eggs come out perfectly. I highly recommend it. Just follow the directions that come with it, and it’s IMPORTANT to know the wattage of your microwave, then just follow the times in the directions for the wattage of your microwave. Your eggs will come out great!

Used my egg boiler one time and the bottom piece is cracked. Big disappointment!

So easy to use and cooks the eggs just like I like them.

Love the egg boiler. Only problem is you can’t seem to use it again for the next two or three hours or the eggs will burst in the microwave. I make hard boiled eggs for egg salad and I need 8 eggs.

I bought this around Easter. I love hard boiled eggs but tend to forget the timing and cook too long. I thought I’d give this a try. Perfect eggs every time!! not only are they perfect, peeling them is perfect every time. That’s a bonus!! I had my sister bring over fresh eggs from her chickens and we used the egg boiler. They peeled perfect! Now she wants one!!

I own the egg poacher by Nordic Ware from the 1980’s that cooked 4 eggs at a time out of their shells. Soft, medium, or hard depending on the time. With this new cooker I found it hard to peel the egg shells if they were too fresh. Also there is no handle on the lid and that makes it difficult to get it off. Please bring the old poacher back.

I love boiled eggs and bought this product expecting it to not be as good as the hype. I was wrong. It is awesome and I would not do without it. So easy to use and perfect everytime.

Perfect Every Time we love it

I love this product. It makes perfect eggs, hard or soft whichever you prefer. You just have to get the timing right and follow the easy directions. I found that 12 minutes is perfect for 4 extra large eggs. Simple and easy, and works every time. No more guessing at the time of boiling water!

I will never boil eggs again!?

I love it and use it several times a week. In my microwave it takes 7 minutes and 40 or 50 seconds for soft boiled eggs. I cook four and eat only one or two for breakfast. The rest go into the refrigerator until I need them. To reheat I have a soft boiled egg “cracker” and once cracked the eggs can be heated in the microwave for 14 or 15 seconds for a hot breakfast.

I used mine all the time for hard and medium eggs in a 600 watt microwave. I now have a 1300 watt microwave and can’t find the booklet (post-move chaos). I was hoping the chart with wattages and suggested cooking times would be available here, but no luck. I guess I get to experiment!

Perfect. Time and hassle saver. I haven’t made hard boiled eggs on the stove since I bought this. It takes a few tries to determine the time for the particular microwave, then it’s hands off, no need to hover over it like when using the stove. For my microwave, it’s 9 minutes cooking and then 15 minutes resting.

We have two o f these. One in the house and one in the motor home. I like hard boiled eggs for breakfast and this is the fastest easiest way to get them. Follow the instructions and it works. I have had a couple of eggs blow up but I put that down to the egg. They also blow in boiling water.

This is a fun way to quickly have a warm hard boiled egg at any time
