Sour Cream Donut Hole Cakes

Ingredients
- ¾ cup flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- Optional: melted white chocolate, melted dark chocolate, coconut, sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, nuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare both pans with shortening and flour or baking spray. In small bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and salt and set aside. In another bowl, blend brown sugar, butter and eggs. Add vanilla, flour mixture and sour cream. Blend until smooth. Pour into bottom side of donut hole pan, slightly overfilling each well. Put top of pan with holes on top and slide metal clips to secure pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool on cooling rack for 5 minutes before inverting onto a cooling rack.
Decorating Options:
Dip cooled cakes in melted white or dark chocolate and roll in your favorite toppings such as sprinkles, toasted coconut, mini chocolate chips, etc. Let cool on a cooling rack. Optional: Enjoy as is or use cake pop sticks for a fun serving suggestion.
