Contest Guidelines
Please read all the following contest guidelines carefully before entering a recipe into the contest.
Theme
Holiday Bundts®, a pan for all seasons!
To continue celebrating the popularity of the "Bundt" pan, Nordic Ware will hold the 3rd annual "Bundts Across America" contest to be held April 1, 2008 through August 1, 2008. Bakers across the United States will be asked to submit Bundt recipes that represents in their own special way one of 10 popular American Holidays. Because there is a Bundt for every season, bakers will be encouraged to make good use of the many seasonal Bundt designs available from Nordic Ware.
Entries will be judged on originality, use of simple ingredients, taste, texture, visual appearance and essay. Since a Bundt cake requires no decorations, elaborate use of frostings and extensive cake decorating will not be considered in determining winners. Use of simple glazes, sugars, garnishes, fruits and flowers are recommended instead. Each holiday will have one winner and will be considered a holiday finalist. One grand prize winner will be chosen from the 10 finalists. The 10 eligible holidays are: Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas.

If prior to final awarding of the prizes, a finalist or Grand Prize winning recipe is found to no have been previously published in a form essentially as submitted, then that prize will be forfeited except in case of a forfeiture of the Grand Prize, it will be awarded instead to the first runner up.
